*1:この曲が入ったアルバム「」は彼らの５枚目のアルバムであることから「We've done four already」の「four」を「４作」と訳してみました。（歌の終わりに出て来る（新たな）「start」と併せて、）たぶん、正解だと思います。
*2:「Rocking in grain」なら、「思い切り体を揺する」ということになるのだが・・・・
*3:オリジナルのオフィシャルな歌詞カードに印刷された（謎の）「hailla ball」という語については（英語圏の）インターネット上でも数々の議論が行われ、これまで実際にどう歌われているかについては、（ロバートジョンソンのブルースなどにもある）「hellhound 」をコアに「for the hellhound headed forth」とするのが有力視されているようなので（実際に聴いてみるとビミョーであはあるが）ここではそれに従ってみた。他に（この部分を） "hell high haillas ball" とする議論もある。
*4:公式の歌詞カードにしたがった歌詞とは違い、実際のトラックでは、「I used to sing to the mountains, has the ocean lost its way I don't know, aw-aw, yeah」と歌われている。つまり、「ぼくは山々に向けて歌っていたが、海はその道に迷ってしまったのだろうか？ ぼくにはわからない、ウォー、イェー」と。
