*1:「地の塩」とは、「マタイ伝」第５章の（イエスにつき従う群集に向けて言われた）有名な「山上の垂訓」のうちの１３節（写経するってえと）「あなたがたは地の塩である。もし塩の効き目がなくなったら何によってその持ち味を取り戻そうか。もはや何の役にも立たず、人々に踏みつけられるばかりである」と言われるような人々であり、つづく１４節では、その人たちについて「あなたがたは世の光である。山の上にある町は隠れることができない」として、１６節で「あなた方の光を人々の前に輝かし、そして人々があなたがたのよい行いを見て、天にいますあなたがたの父を崇めるようにしないさい」と教えを垂れている。そういえば東京に「光塩」というお嬢様校のミッションスクールがある。ついでに乾杯しておこう。
